Shah Ikthiar Alam is an accomplished energy and sustainability professional with over 7 years of multidisciplinary experience spanning nuclear power, gas transmission, and industrial energy efficiency. He is a Government of Bangladesh–certified Energy Auditor and GIZ-certified Sustainability Manager, with deep expertise in energy auditing, thermal system analysis, and mechanical efficiency diagnostics.

Currently serving as a Senior Assistant Manager at Nuclear Power Plant Company Bangladesh Ltd. (NPCBL), Shah leads energy-related commissioning, system testing, and simulator-based training with a focus on turbines and mechanical systems. His previous experience at GTCL and ACI Motors strengthened his expertise in pipeline integrity, HVAC systems, and energy performance optimization.

Shah is also a published researcher in renewable energy economics and has led sustainability innovation projects, including solar-powered electric vehicles. His academic background includes a BSc in Mechanical Engineering from BUET and an MSc in Applied Statistics and Data Science from Jahangirnagar University (ongoing).
