Muhammad Zakir Hossain is a distinguished mechanical engineer and Government of Bangladesh–certified Energy Auditor with over 10 years of extensive experience in energy auditing, HVAC design, renewable energy feasibility, and resource efficiency. He has led more than 250 industrial and building energy audits across diverse sectors including textiles, RMG, steel, pharmaceuticals, paper, food, cement, and ceramics.

His consulting expertise includes GHG emission accounting, SBTi-aligned decarbonization strategies, heat recovery systems, and LEED-compliant building energy simulation. Zakir is also an experienced trainer, having delivered energy efficiency training for SREDA, GIZ, Eurofins, BPDB, and other key institutions.

In addition to auditing and training, he has provided technical leadership in national energy efficiency and renewable energy initiatives, developed competency standards for vocational training under NTVQF, and conducted feasibility studies for solar PV, biomass, and gas pipeline projects.
